Delete your Chatular account

Delete from the app or website

1. Open Chatular and sign in with the account you want to delete.
2. Open the account menu at the top right and choose Settings.
3. Open the Account tab.
4. Choose Delete account and confirm.

You are signed out immediately and the account cannot be reopened.

Ask us to delete it for you

If you cannot sign in, email support@chatular.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my account". We confirm the request by replying to that address and delete the account within 30 days.

What is deleted and what is kept

• Deleted straight away: your sign-in record (name, email, sign-in method), your preferences, and your access to every conversation and attachment.
• Deleted from live systems: conversations, uploaded images and documents, and shared links, which stop working at once. Backups expire on their normal schedule afterwards.
• May be kept: operational logs needed for security and abuse prevention, records we must keep by law, and prompts or replies already used to improve our AI models, as described in Section 07 of the privacy policy. Nothing kept can be used to sign in as you.

Conversations started without an account are not linked to you, so deleting an account does not remove them.
