Chat
Type in the composer and press Enter to send. Shift + Enter adds a new line. The reply streams in as it is written.
While the AI is answering
- Stop the reply with the stop button in the composer, or press Escape.
- A Working on it… line means the reply is taking a little longer than usual. Searching the web… means it is looking something up before it replies.
- The conversation follows the newest text unless you have scrolled up to re-read, in which case it stays where you are.
Under each reply
- Copy the reply as text. Code blocks have their own copy button.
- Share the reply as a public link (see Sharing).
Follow-up suggestions
After a reply, a row of suggested next questions appears above the composer. Click one to send it straight away. Suggestions are hidden while a reply is streaming.
Conversation length
Each conversation has a message limit. When you reach it, a banner offers New chat; the full conversation stays in your history.
Tip: Replies are formatted: headings, lists, tables, quotes and fenced code blocks with the language shown above them.
